Merseyside Police have launched an investigation after a van containing veterinary drugs was stolen in the Woolton area this morning.

Details of the Theft

  • The incident occurred outside St Peter’s Church on Church Road between 8:00 AM and 8:50 AM on Sunday, 12 January.
  • A grey Volkswagen Transporter (73 plate) was stolen from the location.
  • The van contained a quantity of veterinary medicine, including:
    • Somulose (used for euthanasia)
    • Opioids
    • Sedatives

Public Safety Warning

Authorities have warned that the stolen veterinary drugs could be highly dangerous if consumed by humans.
