Huge Police Hunt Underway for Missing Man in Waterlooville

Police have launched a major search operation in Waterlooville and Wecock Farm tonight, desperately hunting for missing 28-year-old groundworker Anthony Bessey.

Park Lane Woods Sealed Off as Search Intensifies

Park Lane Woods in Waterlooville has been cordoned off with a dozen police cars and several fire engines at the scene. Officers are warning the public about the ongoing search for Anthony, who is also suspected of having stolen a car.

A National Police Air Support helicopter has been circling the area for hours, while ground teams comb through the woods. Anthony was last spotted this afternoon at his home on Beresford Close.

Police Concerned for Missing Man’s Safety

A police spokesman said, “We’re growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Family want him home tonight.”

Anthony is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with black hair and three distinctive tattoos: a tiger across his neck, wings on his back, and a clown on his right calf.
