Metropolitan Police said: “At 12:08am on Tuesday, September 30 officers, the Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Lakedale Road, Plumstead. One man in his 20s was found with severe head injuries. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, he died shortly after arrival at hospital. The family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. A forensic tent is still at the scene and road closures remain in place.”
