Metropolitan Police spokesperson: “At 12:08am on Tuesday, September 30, officers, the Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance responded to reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Lakedale Road, Plumstead. A man in his 20s was found with severe head injuries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died after arriving at hospital. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported. A forensic tent is still at the scene and several road closures remain in place.”
