Manhunt after failed Portsmouth Street Robbery
Police are appeal to identify man after attempted robbery in Portsmouth Do you know this man? We know they’re grainy images, but we think someone might know him. Police would like to trace him after a 69-year-old woman was approached by a man who tried to steal her handbag on Havant Street between at 1.15pm yesterday (Thursday 13 September). The woman managed to keep hold of her handbag however did fall to the ground during the incident suffering cuts and grazes to her right shoulder. This man was captured on CCTV in the Havant Street area, close to the enclosed space behind Benbow House where the incident took place.
