Jogger Threatened by Gang of Teens in Broad Daylight
A man in his 20s was threatened by a group of aggressive youths while out for a run on a pathway between Hunts Pond Road and Wheatlands. The shocking incident unfolded around 7.30pm on 28 October, as the victim was confronted and demanded to hand over his wallet. He refused.
Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV Footage
The victim spotted someone watching from a nearby window during the ordeal. Police are urging that witness to come forward. They also want anyone with CCTV footage or information about the group to get in touch.
Descriptions of the Five Suspects
- White male, about 17, average build, 5ft 8ins, short brown hair, dark hooded coat, small dark stud earring.
- White male, 16-17 years, slim, 5ft 11ins, blond hair with long fringe, dark hooded coat.
- White male, around 18, 5ft 10ins, broad build, light brown hair very short at sides, dark blue Adidas cap, tracksuit, carrying small black man bag.
- White male, about 16, skinny, 5ft 5ins, dark hair, light-coloured hoodie.
- White male, about 16, average build, 5ft 10ins, dark hooded coat.
