Man Dies in Shocking Greens Lane Shooting
Police rushed to Greens Lane late on Tuesday, 21 September after reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived to find a man with fatal gunshot wounds. They tried CPR before LAS paramedics took over, but sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scene Locked Down as Loved Ones Demand Answers
A large cordon and road closure remain in place while police investigate.
Relatives of the victim criticised the police response, claiming officers should have arrived faster.
Investigation Underway
The Met has set up a crime scene and inquiries are ongoing. Officials have been approached for comment.
