Police name woman who was murdered in Hambledon Villiage
Police have named a woman found dead in Vicarage Lane, Hambledon on Monday as 50-year-old Joanna Thompson. A teenager who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been detained under the Mental Health Act. In a statement released by Hampshire police, they have revealed a post mortem indicated that the keen runner was stabbed in the neck. and this was the cause of her death. Joanna’s relatives have been informed of the findings and are being supported by specialist officers.
