People returning to their homes are urged to keep all doors and windows closed. Authorities warn against using gardens due to lingering smoke, debris, and potential hazardous materials.

Police Thank Community Amid Ongoing Investigation

Inspector Katie Eustace of Nottinghamshire Police said: “I want to thank everyone affected by this fire for their patience. We know how scary and upsetting incidents like this can be. I also want to thank everyone who stayed away and cooperated yesterday and today.”

She added: “Our colleagues at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service remain on scene. Officers will continue to be in the area, so please speak to them if you have any questions as you return to your homes.”

Road Closures and Centre Shutdowns Continue

Forest Road will stay closed at the junction of Sandhurst Avenue and nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham Road while the investigation carries on.

Oak Tree Leisure Centre on Jubilee Way South will close shortly as residents are allowed back home.
