Suspect Nabbed After Creepy Child Approaches in Aylesford
A 20-year-old man from Maidstone has been arrested after a series of eerie incidents involving children in Aylesford.
Black Car Lured Kids in Multiple Incidents
- On September 19, 2020, a man in a black car allegedly invited a young boy into his vehicle on Greenacres.
- Two days later, a man in the same type of car beckoned a boy playing outside on the same estate.
- The very next day, another disturbing report came in from Teapot Lane, where a man in a black hatchback asked a girl to get in.
Police Act Fast, Arrest Maidstone Man
Kent Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of causing harassment, alarm, and distress. He is currently in custody as investigations continue.
Detective Sergeant Lisa Featherstone, Maidstone Child Protection Unit, said: “Although the children returned safely home, these were understandably distressing incidents. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
