Chaos in South Yorkshire: Two Men Arrested for Torching Police Cars

Two men have been nicked after a brazen attack on police vehicles outside Goldthorpe police station. The wild blaze broke out in the early hours of Monday, shocking the quiet South Yorkshire town.

Police Cars and Van Go Up in Flames

At around 2am, two police cars parked outside the station were set on fire. The flames spread quickly, damaging the side of the police station. To make matters worse, a van not belonging to the police was also gutted by the firebugs.

Suspects in Custody

Officers swiftly arrested an 18-year-old and a 30-year-old local. Both remain in custody as inquiries continue. The police condemned the “muppet” vandals responsible for the reckless attack.
