Five Hurt After Police Van Collides with Car

The crash involved a police van and a car driven by a man in his 70s. The elderly driver was rushed to hospital as a precaution. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Four police officers travelling in the van were also taken to hospital. Their conditions remain unknown at this stage.

Road Closures Spark Chaos

  • The crash forced closures in both directions on Crook Log and The Broadway.
  • Emergency services quickly responded to the scene to manage the incident.
  • All road cordons have since been lifted, but expect ongoing disruption.

No Arrests So Far

Police have not made any arrests related to the crash. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to establish the cause.
