Police have confirmed that a pensioner died in a collision in Norwich’s city centre on Saturday (14 January 2023).
At 11.13 a.m. on Saturday (14 January 2023), emergency services were called to St Stephen’s Street at its crossroads with Surrey Street, following reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 92-year-old woman, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Monday evening, she died in the hospital (16 January 2023).
Officers investigating the collision want to hear from witnesses and anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident.
