Appeal for Information after Stabbing at Old Swan Pub

Merseyside Police are appealing for information after a stabbing occurred at the Old Stanley Arms on Prescot Road in Old Swan on Friday night. Officers responded to a call just after 10.50pm reporting an assault inside the pub.

Upon arrival, patrols discovered a man in his 20s with several stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. The assailant described as a man dressed in black with his face covered, entered the pub moments before the attack and left immediately afterward.
