Merseyside Police are appealing for information after a stabbing occurred at the Old Stanley Arms on Prescot Road in Old Swan on Friday night. Officers responded to a call just after 10.50pm reporting an assault inside the pub.
Upon arrival, patrols discovered a man in his 20s with several stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. The assailant described as a man dressed in black with his face covered, entered the pub moments before the attack and left immediately afterward. The victim, however, has declined to assist police, leading detectives to treat the incident as targeted.
