Baby Boy Serioulsy injured in collision in Worcester Park, Epsom

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses after a 16-month-old boy was injured in a collision with a white transit van in Worcester Park. The collision happened on the corner of Kingston Road and Grafton Road at around 6pm this evening (1 Aug). The boy was taken to hospital in London by ambulance, accompanied by his parents, with potentially life changing injuries to his head, and leg. The driver of the van has been spoken to by officers. No arrests have been made at this time. Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in Grafton Road between 5.45pm and 6pm this evening just prior to the incident, to anyone who saw the incident happen, or anyone who stopped to assist before the police arrived.
