The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation after two men in their 20s were injured during an altercation in Arboretum Place, Barking, in the early hours of Thursday, 26 June 2025.

Police were called to the scene at 1.06am, where they discovered a man with head injuries. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Shortly after, a second man, also in his 20s, self-presented at a London hospital with stab injuries. Police say his condition is stable and not considered life-threatening or life-changing.

Crime Scene and Investigation

A crime scene was established on London Road/Ripple Road in connection with the incident. It has since been closed.

Enquiries remain ongoing as officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the violence.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police via 101 or online. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
