Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) swiftly responded to reports of a bungalow on fire along Hythe">West Hythe Road in Hythe. The incident took place on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at approximately 10pm on Wednesday evening 3rd January 2023.

Upon receiving the emergency call, control operators dispatched seven fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier to the scene. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, skillfully tackled the blaze using hose reel jets and main jets, successfully extinguishing the flames.
