Car Explodes into Fire Ball Destroying Garage and Setting fire to House on Hayling Island
Fire crews have been called to a car fire that exploded and damaged part of a house on and destroyed a garage Creek Road Hayling Island on Tuesday 1st August, Three Fire crews from Hayling Island And Havant attended the incident. Fire crews tackled the blaze using two jets and a high pressure hose reel. Swift actioned by the crews stopped the fire totally damaging the property and gutting the property after flames spread to the eves of the property. Taking to social media Barbara Clark who witnessed the drama unfold on Creek Road said: Everyone is ok but the car blew up in drive and took out an external wall and set light to the eves of the property. Three fire engines are in attendance and all under control.
