Caravan and LVG Destroyed in Sittingbourne blaze

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a caravan and large vehicle fire on Sheppey Way in Sittingbourne. Four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to the static caravan and large vehicle well alight. Firefighters used hose reel jets, a main jet and water from a hydrant to tackle the blaze. The exact cause is yet to be established, but is believed to have started accidentally in the caravan before spreading to the second vehicle. No casualties were reported.
