The Kent Fire and Rescue Service swiftly responded to reports of a caravan and car engulfed in flames near Morris Avenue in Swalecliffe, Herne Bay. The incident, which occurred on the evening of December 31, 2023, saw the deployment of three fire engines and the heroic efforts of firefighting crews to bring the fire under control.

The alarm was raised at 10.48pm on New Year’s Eve, prompting the immediate dispatch of three fire engines to the scene. Upon arrival, crews equipped with breathing apparatus and high-pressure hose reel jets tackled the fire with precision and determination.
