A £20,000 reward is being offered by Crimestoppers for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the hit-and-run death of Ina Rodrigues, 58, a beloved mother tragically killed while crossing Talgarth Road in Hammersmith earlier this year.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, 16 January, when Rodrigues, on her way home from work, was struck by a moped. She was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The moped rider and a passenger abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
The Rodrigues family has been left devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of Ina. Her daughters expressed their heartbreak over the loss of their “beautiful and kind” mother, who was an important part of their lives.

Crimestoppers emphasized that anyone providing information would remain completely anonymous. We understand that some people find it difficult to speak directly to the police, which is why our charity exists,” said Loukas. We have guaranteed anonymity for decades, and it’s a promise we always keep.”

To be eligible for the £20,000 reward, information must be provided directly to Crimestoppers. The charity works closely with law enforcement but operates independently to ensure the protection of witnesses. They encourage anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward, as securing justice for Ina could prevent further tragedies.

The Rodrigues family, friends, and community continue to grieve the loss of a woman described as having been a light in their lives, and they hope the reward will bring closure and accountability to those involved.
