Detectives Appeal for Witnesses in Tommy Barton Murder Investigation – UKNIP

Detectives investigating the murder of Tommy Barton in Ryde, which occurred in May, are now appealing for two potential witnesses to come forward and assist with their enquiries. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have released CCTV images showing two individuals who were in the vicinity of Park Road during the early hours of Sunday, May 28th, at the time of the incident.

Police believe that these individuals may have seen or heard something that could provide crucial information to aid the ongoing investigation into Tommy Barton’s murder. As previously reported, two individuals have already been charged with murder and are currently in custody, following the death of the 30-year-old victim who succumbed to stab wounds while being transported to the hospital.

Although the CCTV images may not be of the highest quality, the police are treating these individuals as potential witnesses and are eager to speak with them. The spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary stated, “We appreciate that these images are not the best quality, but if you recognize yourself in the pictures, or were in the area at the time of this incident and are yet to speak to the police, please get in touch with us.

Officers are urging anyone who may have information or who can identify the individuals in the CCTV images to come forward and contact the police. They can do so by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 44230211028.
