Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest of Suspects in £20k E-Bike Theft

Kent Police received an allegation that a serious sexual assault of a man had taken place in Ethelbert Crescent in Cliftonville, between 10pm on Monday 27 May 2024 and 12.50am the following morning.

A 26-year-old man from Margate was arrested on Tuesday 28 May and taken into custody, where he currently remains while enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious during the late evening of Monday 27 May or has any information regarding the incident should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/87072/24.

People who have dashcam footage or private CCTV recorded in the Ethelbert Crescent area are also asked to come forward as they may be able to assist with the investigation.
