Herne Bay Street on Lock Down by Armed Police Following Stabbing

Armed police have been called to Richmond Street in Herne Bay inn Kent. At around 11:30pm tonight Friday (May 12) armed officers put the road in lock down warning residents to stay in doors whilst they dealt with the incident. Police with guns could be seen outside on property on the road. It is understood that a person has been stabbed in a property in the road, near to the junction with Telford Street. Police have arrested one man. A cordon around the property remains. More to Follow
