As many Islanders remain Stuck in their properties Isle of Wight Ambulance service have been out co-responding with Coastguard Search and Rescue Teams for most of the day and will continue overnight and for some emergency’s they have had to call on the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter Rescue 175. The advice from Island Road and Hampshire Police is do not travel unless it’s an emergency. Many Roads in and around Hampshire and the isle of Wight are treacherous.
