Hit and Run leaves in Southampton leaves teeneager with facial Injuries
A Southampton student on her way to school has been left with serious facial injuries after being involved in a hit and run incident. The incident happened just after 8.10am on Wednesday 4th June whilst Casey was on her scooter in Hamble Lane, Southampton. Casey was taken to hospital where it was confirmed she had a broken eye socket. It is understood that a cyclist may have been involved in the incident who left the scene before exchanging details. The rider is described as a man wearing a balaclava type neck scarf. A good Samaritan van driver stopped and gave assistance to the injured girl before the emergency services arrived Police are appealing for him to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101.
