A 24-year-old man has been hospitalised following a stabbing incident on Lewisham High Street near Lewis Grove late on Wednesday night. Emergency services, including police and London Ambulance Service crews, were called to the scene at approximately 10:25 pm. Upon arrival, officers found a man who had sustained stab injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, where his condition remains unknown.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 10.25 pm on Wednesday, 16 October, to reports of a man stabbed on Lewisham High Street.

“The 24-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment; we await an update on his condition.
“A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. A crime scene is in place.”
