Man Hospitalised Following Assault in Kingston

In the early hours of this morning, a man was rushed to the hospital after being assaulted in Kingston. The incident occurred at 4:17 a.m. on Clarence Street.

Metropolitan Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics responded to the scene, where they found the victim with injuries to his face. It is believed that two attackers were involved in the assault before fleeing the area.

The swift response by Officers from the Met Police resulted in the arrest of two individuals in a nearby location. As of Sunday afternoon, both suspects remain in police custody. Meanwhile, the victim received medical attention and was transported to the hospital.

Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening at this time. A crime scene remains cordoned off at Clarence Street, particularly at the junction with Castle Street.

Authorities are urging anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward. They can contact the police at 101 and quote CAD reference 1099/07JAN. As the investigation unfolds, residents and businesses are encouraged to cooperate with the ongoing efforts to ensure community safety and bring those responsible for the assault to justice.
