A significant operation by the National Crime Agency (NCA) led to the lockdown of a street in Plumstead on Tuesday morning. Officers conducted a raid on a property shortly after 11 AM as part of an ongoing investigation.

This incident follows a series of NCA operations targeting organized crime in London. In August 2023, a raid in Plumstead resulted in two arrests and the seizure of a large collection of knives, multiple mobile phones, and counterfeit money from a suspected brothel.
More recently, in November 2024, the NCA arrested five individuals in London as part of an investigation into a migrant smuggling network.
