Kent Police Roads Policing Unit (RPU) successfully stopped a stolen vehicle using TPAC tactics earlier today. The incident involved a Toyota CH-R that was found to be driving on cloned plates.

Swift Action

The Roads Policing Unit, known as #RPU3, used tactical pursuit and containment techniques to bring the vehicle to a safe stop before any further incidents could occur. Officers confirmed that the car was reported stolen, and upon inspection, it was discovered that the driver did not possess a valid licence or insurance.

“#RPU3 used #TPAC tactics to preemptively stop this CH-R driving around on cloned plates. The CH-R was found to be stolen, and the naughty man was found to have no licence or insurance ? Tut tut ?‍♂️ CAD 28-1314 DG.”

Driver Arrested

The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicle theft, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance. The vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
