A fire at a scrapyard in County Antrim is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.

Incident Details

  • Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at a scrapyard on Ballyutoag Road at approximately 1:10 AM on Sunday, 12 January.
  • Nine vehicles were destroyed in the fire, according to reports from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS).
  • Officers attending the scene were informed that the fire had been started deliberately.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has launched an investigation and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
