Police release CCTV as man left fighting for his life

Officers from Hampshire Condtabulary have released further images of a group of people we would like to identify as part of an investigation into a serious assault in Portsmouth. Police received a report at 11.38pm on Saturday 18 August that a fight had taken place between two groups of people some time between 11.15pm and 11.35pm on Festing Road, near to the Festing Pub. Officers attended the scene where a man in his 30s had suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries during the incident. He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains at this time. The two groups of people had moved on from the area prior to police arrival. We are appealing for the identities of all the people pictured, as they may have information to assist our enquiries. Do you know these people? Did you see anything, or have any information to help our enquiries into this incident? Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44180313770, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
