Probe continues into betting shop armed robbery

Officers investigating a robbery at a betting shop have arrested a man in connection with the incident. The robbery was reported to have happened at around 8pm on 11 March in King Street, Gravesend, after a man walked into a betting shop where he was alleged to have used a knife to threaten a staff member. He stole a large quantity of cash before leaving the shop. Officers investigating the incident carried out enquiries and a man in his 30’s and from Gravesend was arrested at around 5pm on 12 March 2019 on suspicion of robbery. Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
