Witnesses are sought after a man in his 70s was assaulted in Minster on Sea.

 

Kent Police is investigating after the victim reported being assaulted in his home in Kent Avenue by three unknown men.

 

The men forced their way into his house at around 9.30pm on 10 October 2020 and assaulted the pensioner before stealing a large quantity of money and fleeing the address.

 

The victim sustained minor facial injuries following the incident.

 

The three men were reported to have been wearing balaclavas and all black clothing.

 

As part of ongoing enquiries officers identified two women, aged 51 and 39, who are suspected to have been involved in planning the offence. They were both arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and have both been released, pending further enquiries.
