A serious road incident involving an ice cream van and a cyclist occurred on Seabrook Road in Hythe at approximately 5:55 PM on Sunday, 28 July 2024. The collision has prompted a police investigation, with authorities now calling for witnesses to come forward.

The ice cream van, which was headed towards Folkestone, collided with the cyclist who was travelling in the direction of Hythe at the time. The cyclist, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident and was subsequently transported to a London hospital. Fortunately, the injuries are not considered life-threatening.
