Woman Rescued from Vehicle Stuck in Mud in Strood

 

Emergency services rescued a woman from a vehicle stuck in mud on the riverbank near Knight Road, Strood, earlier today.

The Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene and dispatched three fire engines, a water safety unit, and a height vehicle to assist with the rescue.

Crews successfully freed the woman from the vehicle, and she was handed over to South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics for further care. The vehicle was subsequently recovered from the mud.
