Police have released a CCTV image as part of their investigation into a bag theft and subsequent fraud case in Sittingbourne. The incident occurred on Harold Road at approximately 11:15 am on Monday, January 29, 2024.

The victim, an elderly woman in her 80s, reported that she was approached by a man who allegedly forcibly grabbed her bag before quickly fleeing the scene. Although the bag was later recovered nearby, the purse was missing.
