Residents in Orpington are being urged to come together next month in a powerful show of unity against the escalating violence inflicted on local wildlife.
An awareness event titled “Make a Stand for Orpington’s Wildlife” will take place on Sunday, April 6th at 1:30 PM, following a series of disturbing incidents in Priory Gardens, where animals have reportedly been maimed or killed by individuals armed with catapults.
Attendees are encouraged to bring signs, distribute leaflets, speak with fellow residents, and help raise awareness about the issue. The event aims to pressure authorities to improve surveillance, enforce laws, and protect local green spaces from further harm.
