Teenager Charged Following Attempted Robberies in Sheerness

Kent Police was called at 11.04pm on Tuesday 16 April 2024 to a report that a man had been assaulted at a property in East Street and a set of car keys had been taken from him.

It was alleged that the victim’s car was missing, along with a bank card.

Officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, who treated a man at the scene.

The car reported stolen was tracked to junction 3 of the Londonbound M2, where it was stopped by patrols. A woman, a man and two teenagers were arrested.

Early on Thursday 18 April, officers from East Kent CID charged Jade Cosier, of Sunshine Corner Avenue, Canterbury, with robbery and three driving offences.

Erik Horvath, of King Street, Dover and two teenage boys, who cannot be named due to their age, were charged with robbery.

Ms Cosier, 28; Mr Horvath, 23 and the two teenagers were due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 18 April.
