In a recent development, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have said they have retrieved the body of Yehudit Weiss, who was abducted by the Hamas terrorist organisation. The operation took place in a building near al Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF’s statement, military personnel discovered Yehudit’s body along with military equipment, including Kalashnikov rifles and RPGs, in the structure where she was held. The IDF expressed its condolences to the Weiss family and emphasised their commitment to locating missing persons and bringing abducted individuals home.
