Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who has been missing from home in Leeds for nearly two weeks.
Anthony Whitehouse, aged 42, was reported missing from the Headingley area on July 5 after family members, who live outside of West Yorkshire, had not heard from him since June 28.
This is out of character for him and there are concerns for his welfare.
Enquiries have established the last confirmed sighting of him was at the Sainsbury’s store, in Otley Road, Headingley, at 1.43pm on Thursday, June 29 (see CCTV images)
He left the store and headed along Otley Road towards the crossroads with Shaw Lane and St Anne’s Road.
He is described as 6ft 1in tall, of stocky build, with mousy shaved hair with a dark beard and glasses. He was last seen wearing black clothing, burgundy and grey baseball cap and carrying a rucksack.
Detective Inspector Dan Bates, of Leeds District CID, said: “It is completely out of character for Anthony to have been out of touch with his family for this amount of time and we are very concerned for his welfare.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to locate him including work to track his movements from Otley Road, and we are keen to hear from anyone who has seen him at any point since June 29.”
