In response to this heinous act, Nottinghamshire Police are calling for witnesses and urging horse owners in the area to be extra vigilant. The police are also requesting that locals review any CCTV or doorbell camera footage that might capture suspicious activities between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

The owner of Alfie, devastated by the loss, is seeking justice for the beloved horse. In their grief, they have highlighted the cruelty of the attack, hoping that public assistance can aid in solving this dreadful crime.
