Information is being sought after a distinctive wheel from vintage farming machinery was stolen near Ashford. The theft, which is believed to have taken place from around 7pm on Wednesday 23 August 2023, saw the front wheel of a 1901 Burrell traction engine taken from the vehicle in a field in Woodchurch.
Officers believe that a large vehicle such as a van or flat bed truck would have been needed to transport the heavy wheel away and ask that anyone who might have seen something suspicious in the area around that time, to come forward.
