In a remarkable turn of events, a Ferrari stolen from former Formula One driver Gerhard Berger in Italy back in 1995 has been recovered after nearly three decades, thanks to a four-day investigation led by the Metropolitan Police.

The incident dates back to April 1995 during the San Marino Grand Prix held in Imola, Italy. At the time, two Formula One drivers, including Gerhard Berger, had their prized Ferraris stolen. Despite extensive efforts to locate the stolen vehicles, including the red Ferrari F512M, they remained elusive until the recent breakthrough by the Met.
