Home Security Tips:
- Lock all doors and windows: Even when you’re home, ensure all access points are secure.
- Install an alarm system: If you don’t already have one, consider installing a burglar alarm for added security.
- Secure car keys: Store keys away from doors and windows, preferably in a locked drawer or a Faraday pouch to block electronic theft.
Vehicle Security Tips:
- Lock and secure vehicles: Always ensure your car is locked, and the alarm is set before leaving it unattended.
- Use additional deterrents: Consider investing in a steering wheel lock for added protection.
- Park in well-lit areas: Thieves are less likely to target vehicles that are visible and under streetlights.
- Remove valuables: Never leave bags, electronics, or other valuables in plain sight inside your car.
Neighborhood Watch:
- Stay vigilant: Keep an eye out for suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
- Share footage: If you have doorbell or security camera footage capturing unusual activity, share it with the police.
- Report incidents: Call 101 to report suspicious behavior, or reach out anonymously to Crimestoppers.
Community Safety Comes First
