West Yorkshire Police are urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Skye Bond, who was reported missing from her home in Keighley on 25 June. Skye was last seen on the Christchurch Estate in Armley, Leeds, on Saturday, 1 July. It is believed that she may be using the name Zaneya and falsely claiming to be from Birmingham.
Skye is described as a mixed-race female, standing at 5 foot 7 inches tall. In an effort to aid the search, police have released a new image of Skye. It is believed that she may have changed her clothing and is currently wearing dark grey leggings with patterns, a grey/blue crop top, a grey Nike jumper with black and white writing, and black and white trainers.
Detective Inspector Richard Thornton of Bradford CID expressed growing concerns for Skye’s welfare, stating, “It’s now been a week since Skye went missing, and we are really concerned for her welfare. We know she was in the Armley area on Friday, and we would urge anyone who has seen her to contact us urgently.”
Skye also has connections to the Bradford and Birmingham areas. Her family and the police are becoming increasingly worried about her well-being due to the length of time she has been missing. The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Skye immediately.
Anyone with information about Skye Bond’s whereabouts is urged to contact the police via 101, call 999 in emergencies, or utilize the live chat facility at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contactus, quoting log 1461 of 25 June.
