Authorities are appealing to the public for help in identifying a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with an assault that took place on Sunday, July 30th, in Bristol.
The individual in question, depicted in a released photograph, is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35, with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-color cap, black coat, grey/beige hooded top, and black trousers.
The incident under investigation occurred at approximately 5:10 pm on Wine Street in Bristol. According to reports, an unidentified man stood up from his seat on a bus and began shouting at the victim. The situation escalated when he threw her phone out of the bus and proceeded to physically assault her.
Fortunately, the victim, a woman in her 30s, did not sustain any severe injuries that required hospital treatment. However, the traumatic incident left her understandably shaken.
Law enforcement authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or can provide information leading to the identification of the individual in the photograph to come forward. The police can be contacted by calling 101 and referencing the case number 5223183061.
