Police are hunting a hit-and-run motorist after a 17-year-old cyclist was knocked off his bike in Goring-by-Sea.

Young Cyclist Knocked Down Near Popular Pub

The crash happened just after 4pm on Wednesday, 4 March, close to The Sussex Yeoman. The teen was crossing the road with his bicycle when a car clipped him and sped off without stopping.

Teen Sustains Cuts and Bruises, Police Seek Witnesses

The boy suffered cuts and bruises but thankfully no serious injuries. His bike was also damaged. Sussex Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch immediately.

“If you saw anything or have footage from the area around 4.10pm on 4 March, please call 101 quoting serial 1028 of 4/3,” urged police.
