Sussex Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a shocking collision left an 89-year-old man fighting for life. The smash happened on London Road, near Carden Avenue roundabout, Brighton, between 4.15pm and 4.45pm on January 23.
Driver Flees Scene
The vehicle involved didn’t stop, leaving the elderly victim with severe injuries. He remains hospitalised as cops race to track down the culprit.
Police Make Urgent Appeal
“Anyone who saw the crash, the vehicle, or the man before the collision must come forward,” pleaded Sussex Police spokesperson. “Your information could be key to cracking this case.”
