AIR SUPPORT CALLED High-Speed Police Chase Ends on M40 in Buckinghamshire

Drama on the M40: A vehicle pursued from the West Midlands was finally stopped on the M40 between Junctions 5 and 4 after a tense police chase.

Helicopter Joins the Hunt

The National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter joined the pursuit near Junction 8a. The chase continued southbound until officers brought the vehicle to a halt near the Handy Cross area.

Traffic Snarled as Police Take Action

  • Southbound traffic between Junction 5 and Junction 4 was temporarily halted during the operation.
  • No details yet on arrests or reasons for the chase.
